Alyssa Zampogna, M.A.

Alyssa Zampogna joined the CARE Lab as a Research Principal in September 2025 and oversees all clinical aspects of the PAIR Study. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and a Certificate in Child Development, as well as an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. Before joining the CARE Lab, she worked as a registered behavior technician supporting children and adolescents with developmental and mental health challenges. Her clinical training includes a Family-Based Mental Health internship at the Achievement Center of LECOM Health. Additionally, she also worked as a Research Assistant under Dr. Wilson Brown for over 5 years, where she contributed to various projects focused on severe mental illness, PTSD comorbidities, and evidence-based interventions for perinatal PTSD. She is particularly interested in perinatal mental health and women's health research, especially the impact of maternal psychopathology on early developmental outcomes.
